Athlone Greenway Project
On behalf of PD Contractors, we are the civil contractor on 1.1km of the new greenway from Athlone Marina to the existing Greenway at the Ballymahon Road. Project involves a section of excavation through Abbey graveyard. Due to the location of the works, all excavation works were supervised by an archaeologist. Installation of 1km of street lighting ducting and lamp posts, 100m of 1200mm diameter concrete pipes, foundation works and extensive road works. Project started in April 2021 and was completed in July 2021.
